
Lake Michigamme is a wilderness lake located in the highlands of Michigan's Upper Peninsula encompassing 4,360 acres, or almost 7 square miles. The lake has over 20 islands and carries depths of over 50 feet.
It is not uncommon to see bald eagles, deer, otters, bear and even moose feeding on or near the lake.
The main species of fish in the lake are walleye, northern pike, muskie, small mouth bass, and perch.
